It’s that time of year again where you dust off the clubs, get your irons buffed and your plus fours ironed, for the Pro-Am golfing spectacular of 2012 in aid of  SHHiRT’s 2^nd  anniversary!

Following the huge success of SHHiRTs first golf day in 2011, which saw Tony Gale, Ray Wilkins, Tony Cottee and many more join us around the stunning Silvermere Golf and Country Club course, we are delighted to invite you back to Silvermere again on Thursday 23^rd August 2012 and extremely pleased to inform you that the day will again be hosted by ex-West Ham footballer and media pundit Tony Gale.

Teams of three will be teamed up with either a pro or a celeb for 18 holes, and afterwards you can relax at the all-important 19^th hole – with a special celebratory afternoon featuring gala dinner, raffle, auction, prize giving and entertainment. It will mark SHHiRT’s second anniversary, so it’ll also be a chance for us to thank you all again for the support you’ve given and an update on how we have grown as a charity.

Price is £75 per person (or £225 per team) for which you will get bacon rolls and coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf and 3 course meal; or £25 for just the afternoon. Silvermere have again very kindly agreed that proceeds will go to SHHiRT.

As last year we have limited number of places and it will be strictly first come first served, so to avoid disappointment please follow steps below:

As last year there will be individual and team stableford competitions, plus “Nearest the Pin”, “Longest Drive”, “Straightest Drive” and “Water Challenge”…… and let’s not forget “Worst Player of Day”… which, much to the disappointment of SHHiRT’s founder Jamie who thought it was a dead cert for him, was pipped to the post by Peter Frost last year.  I know Jamie has put in a lot of training over the last year to worsen his game in preparation for this year!!!!!

Full timings of the day and details of the Auction items will be escalated closer to the day, but please see below for a rough guide:

• Arrival & Registration: 7.00am
• Coffee & Bacon Roll: 7.15am
• Golf: 8.00am tee off for all
• Drinks at 19^th Hole 12.30pm
• Sit down at tables: 1.30pm
• Opening Speech & Awards ceremony 1.45pm
• Diner served: 2pm
• Auction & speeches: throughout diner
